Neem-Extract Lice Treatment Study

A study testing a neem-extract head lice treatment has found evidence for efficacy in treating head lice infection.

The new study by Abdel-Ghaffar et al., published in the August 2016 edition of the Journal of Parasitology Research revealed that 65 patients treated successfully with Licener® and visited for a period of 2 weeks ended up showing no relapses in head lice.

They suggest that this Neem-extract product presents an alternative to existing lice treatments.
